20 essentials for your own Royal baby

People the world over are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child, and I am one of them! The Duke and Duchess are a breath of fresh air for the Royal family, and the impending birth of the third in line to throne is a very big deal. The media and paparazzi have claimed their positions outside St Mary's Hospital, waiting for the news to break, or to catch a glimpse of Kate arriving at the hospital. I am as excited for the Royal birth announcement, as I was when Wills and Kate married in April 2011! These are exciting times people...
To celebrate the impending arrival of the new Prince or Princess, I have put together a little baby shopping list! Royalists are as passionate about the Union Jack, as the US are for their beloved stars and stripes. Red, white and blue is a classic baby scheme. Throw in the national flag, and iconic London icons like the double decker bus, or one of the Queen's soldiers, and you've got a winning combination for a baby's room. Here's a few of my favourites for your own royal baby...

Wondering how to put it all together in a baby nursery? Check out Charlie's baby nursery (yes, Charles...coincidence?) lovingly designed by his interior designer mumma, Belinda. I love how Belinda has pulled together a British inspired nursery, without it screaming red, white and blue! The inspiration for the striped wall came from a baby onesie, and many of the elements in the room have been handmade. Head on over and check it out.

By the seriously sweet is the Duchess' baby bump. I was secretly hoping she'd have a nice big round bump, but she's stayed quite petite.
The Duchess' maternity fashion is to be admired too. Loads of feminine dresses, still showing off plenty of leg, but flowing gently over her belly. Simple cardigans or jackets finish the look.
So, as of right now, there's no Royal baby news...but the clock is ticking. The world is waiting with baited breath for the official announcement to be posted on the public notice board located outside Buckingham Palace.

Place your you think they're having a Prince or a Princess? I'm thinking a girl, with the names Diana and Elizabeth featured in some way.
