If we live truly, we shall see truly.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Not everyone wants to travel the world, but most people can identify at least one place in the world they’d like to visit before they die. Where is that place for you, and what will you do to make sure you get there?
Prompt by Chris Guillebeau
Ever since watching Roman Holiday, I have dreamt of going to Italy.
I so desperately want to see the Trevi Fountain and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Colosseum and the Pantheon and much, much more.
I want to put my hand inside the Mouth of Truth and see if it will bite me!
I want to taste Italy...real gelato and pasta and pizza...not the Dominos kind.
I want to walk the cobblestone streets and ride on a scooter.
I want to be serenaded in a gondola as we travel down the Grand Canal.
...and although I'm not Catholic, I want to visit Vatican City.
Andrew wants to go too, so that's a big bonus! Eme will go anywhere there is pasta. Seth is indifferent. One day this will happen. We have quite a few commitments before we can even think about saving for an overseas holiday. One thing I know for sure...it will happen.
